Hackathon (HackPrix)

HACKATHON is a time-limited event where teams collaborate to develop software projects, fostering innovation, skill development, and networking. These events, lasting from a day to a week, include competitive elements with judging and prizes and are used for rapid prototyping, recruitment, community building, and addressing social issues. Lords Institute of Engineering and Technology made history by hosting the ground-breaking 36 hours hackathon named "HACKPRIX," the first of its kind in Telangana state. Held on June 8th and 9th, 2024, the event witnessed enthusiastic participation from over 455 students representing more than 70+ cities across 20+ states of India, including participants from prestigious institutions like NITs and IITs. HACKPRIX was a two-day extravaganza packed with innovation and collaboration, aimed at bringing together the brightest minds to tackle real-world challenges. Participants leveraged platforms like AIML, Blockchain, Web3, IoT, and Open innovations to develop transformative solutions.

Day 1:

Participants engaged in brainstorming, hacking, mentoring sessions, and networking activities. The evening brought a mix of campfire fun, dance, and games, fostering creativity and collaboration.

Day 2:

Teams delved deep into coding, designing, and refining their projects, showcasing creativity and determination. Mentors provided guidance, and judging rounds evaluated projects for innovation and impact. The event concluded with a grand closing ceremony graced by distinguished guests including CA Basha Mohiuddin, Chairman of LIET, Mr. Syed Touseef Ahmed, Vice Chairman of LIET, Respected Principal Dr. R.K Singh, Dr. Ch Santhan Kumar, Convenor HACKPRIX,and Dr. J Sasi Kiran, Dean Planning & Coordination.The Mentors, Judges and Organisers are felicitated by Chief Guest and Guest of Honour, Finally the winners are announced on stage by Convenor- HACKPRIX with a Cash Prize of Rs. 50,000 (I Prize) to Team Byte Systems, Rs. 30,000 (II Prize) to Team Tech Mach, Rs.20,000 (III Prize) to Team Hex Tech, Consolation Prizes like Best Beginners Team, Best Lords College Team, Best Girls Team and Most Innovative Project Team are awarded to Teams Pixel Pioneers, Bit Mazes, ADA Code and Deccan Charges by The Management, Lords Institute of Engineering and Technology. These recognitions celebrated diversity, innovation, and the spirit of participation among the HACKPRIX participants.
