Title of Event: Blankets & Clothes Donation Drive

Description: The Department of Computer Science and Engineering at LIET organized a Blankets & Clothes Donation Drive from 18th November to 22nd November 2025. The drive was conducted at the 2nd Floor, Dept. of CSE, Main Building, with collection timings from 12:30 pm to 1:30 pm and 3:30 pm to 4:30 pm each day.This initiative aimed to support underprivileged individuals and families in need, especially with the winter season approaching. Students, faculty, and staff members actively participated by contributing warm clothing, blankets, and other essential wearables. The event encouraged a spirit of compassion and social responsibility within the campus community.
The donations collected during the drive were carefully sorted and packed by volunteers and have been distributed to nearby shelters and communities. The event successfully fostered teamwork, empathy, and awareness about the importance of giving back to society.
