Name of the event: 16th National Voters Day

Description: The Department of Science and Humanities, in association with the National Service Scheme (NSS), organized the 16th National Voters’ Day on 23rd January 2026 at Lords Institute of Engineering and Technology. The program aimed to create awareness about the importance of voting and to strengthen democratic values among students and staff. Participants took the Voters’ Pledge, reaffirming their commitment to free, fair, and peaceful elections. The event highlighted responsible citizenship, electoral awareness, and active participation in the democratic process.
