Description of the event: The Department of Science and Humanities at Lords Institute of Engineering and Technology, in association with the NSS Cell and Women Empowerment Committee, organized the International Women’s Day Celebration on 11 March 2026 at C. V. Raman Seminar Hall. The event aimed to recognize the achievements, strength, and contributions of women in society.
The program was graced by Chief Guest Dr. Aakriti Shukla, Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist from Olive Hospital, and Guest of Honour Dr. Rizwana Begum, Secretary of LIET. Through inspiring talks and discussions, the event encouraged empowerment, equality, and motivation among students and faculty to support women’s growth and leadership in every field.
