In December 2024, LIET Hyderabad successfully organized its 1st International Internship at IIUM Malaysia under the Global Learning Program, in collaboration with the International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM). A total of 13 Engineering Students and 2 Faculty Members participated in this prestigious international initiative, gaining invaluable academic, research, and industry exposure in a global learning environment.

During the internship, participants received hands-on training in emerging technologies, including Artificial Intelligence (AI), Internet of Things (IoT), 3D Printing, Aerospace Engineering, and Satellite Technologies. They also explored the implementation of Outcome-Based Education (OBE) through interactive sessions with IIUM faculty members and industry experts, gaining practical insights into modern teaching methodologies, curriculum design, and outcome-based assessment practices.

The International Internship at IIUM Malaysia significantly enhanced participants’ technical expertise, innovation mindset, problem-solving abilities, and cross-cultural communication skills. By combining academic excellence with real-world industry exposure, this Global Learning Program reflects LIET Hyderabad’s commitment to providing international learning opportunities and preparing engineering students to excel in a globally connected and technology-driven future.
