Title of event: 23rd Youth Sports Fest 2026-27

Description: The Department of Physical Education (Sports & Games Cell), in association with the Department of Science and Humanities, Lords Institute of Engineering and Technology, successfully organized the 23rd Youth Sports Fest 2026–27 for B.E. First-Year students from 29th to 31st October 2026. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from approximately 1,000 students across 15 different sports and games, including cricket, football, basketball, volleyball, kabaddi, kho-kho (boys and girls), judo, karate, wrestling, throwball, table tennis, chess, carrom, and tug of war. The fest aimed to promote physical fitness, develop athletic skills, foster teamwork, and encourage a spirit of sportsmanship among students. With energetic participation, healthy competition, and remarkable enthusiasm, the event provided an excellent platform for students to showcase their sporting talents, interact with peers, build team spirit, and become actively involved in campus life. The three-day sports fest concluded successfully, creating a vibrant and positive atmosphere while strengthening the importance of sports and physical education in students’ overall development.
