Lords Institute of Engineering and Technology (LIET), Hyderabad hosted the second season of its flagship national hackathon — Hackprix Season 2 on June 14 and 15, 2025. This 36-hour non-stop innovation marathon brought together over 500 student hackers from across the country, turning the LIET campus into a buzzing nucleus of creative energy, disruptive ideas, and next-generation technology. With an overwhelming 2600+ registrations, and 147 teams representing 24+ states and 90+ cities, Hackprix Season 2 firmly established itself as one of India’s premier student-led hackathons. Notably, 60% of participants came from outside Telangana, reflecting the event’s national prestige and reach.
Day 1: Opening Ceremony, Team Hacking, Group Photos, Ideation Mentorship, Workshop by Mr. Siddharth Dayalwal (Story block), Sponsor Activities, Campfire & Networking.
Day 2: Implementation Mentorship, Evaluation Mentorship, Final Judging, Winner Announcement, Closing Ceremony. Beyond hacking, Hackprix Season 2 was a celebration. Participants enjoyed workshops, sponsor games, storytelling sessions, a cozy campfire, and late-night chill zones, turning the hackathon into a festival of creativity and connection. The hackathon awarded a total prize pool of ₹1,25,000, recognizing overall excellence, domain-specific brilliance, and outstanding use of technology.
