Smart India Hackathon 2025 Achievement

Lords Institute of Engineering and Technology (Autonomous) proudly congratulates Team “Caffeinated Coders” for winning the Smart India Hackathon (SIH) 2025, organized by the Ministry of Education’s Innovation Cell (MIC) in collaboration with AICTE. The team secured a cash prize of ₹1.5 Lakhs for their innovative hardware solution.

Smart India Hackathon 2025 Grand Finale

The SIH 2025 Grand Finale was held from 8th to 12th December 2025 at the Tinkering Lab, IIT Roorkee, Uttarakhand. The finale featured a 5-day national-level hardware hackathon, bringing together top student innovators from engineering institutions across India.

Innovative Solution for Agriculture Sector

The team successfully addressed Problem Statement SIH25267, proposed by the Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare, by developing a low-cost, portable jute ribboning machine.The solution aims to support farmers by improving efficiency while reducing operational costs.
