Introduction

The 3D Printing & Additive Manufacturing (3D & AM) Club is an organization at the college level within LIET. This club serves as a collaborative environment for students to engage in innovative design and engineering projects. Its primary objective is to offer a platform for students from various disciplines to acquire new competencies in 3D printing technology. Through co-curricular and extracurricular initiatives, students are encouraged to enhance their technical and creative abilities. The club also supports aspiring entrepreneurs in their journey towards establishing successful start-ups. The activities and events organized by the 3D Printing Club emphasize the significance of soft skills, including teamwork, responsibility, and leadership. Additionally, the 3D Printing Club at LIET is dedicated to raising awareness about 3D printing on campus. The 3D & AM Club is integrated with the existing centre of excellence in 3D Printing Lab which currently houses multiple 3D printers.

Objectives

• To cultivate and expand the use of 3D printing in engineering education.
• To develop a competitive culture where the students polish technical and professional attributes.
• To deliver creative 3D printing skills and design ideas that make our students successful.
