Title of the event: Six Hours Appathon – APP – FUSION

Description about the event (50 Words): The GDG and MAD Clubs jointly organized App-Fusion, a dynamic appathon focused on the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).The event kicked off on May 5th with an introductory session from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, briefing participants on rules, judging criteria, and collaboration strategies. The SDGs were introduced as the central theme, encouraging socially impactful app ideas.On May 8th, a hands-on mobile app development workshop attracted over 350 registrations. Expert sessions were led by Aarshad Devani (Firebase & cloud computing) and Khaja Fareeduddin (Flutter & GitHub).
The main event, the App-Fusion Appathon, was held on May 10th, bringing together over 40 teams for a 6-hour coding challenge. Participants demonstrated remarkable creativity and problem-solving skills while building apps aligned with the SDGs.The event was a resounding success, showcasing the talent and innovation within the student community.
