Description: The Department of Civil Engineering organized a 30-hour certification course on ‘Differential Global Positioning System (DGPS) & Drone Surveying’ from 19-10-2024 to 30-10-2024. Expert resource person, Mr. Mohammed Tabrez Pasha, Govt. Approved Land Surveyor, shared valuable insights and hands-on experience in cutting-edge geospatial technologies. It acted as a bridge between Academics and Industry. In the modern world where every aspect of all fields is growing exponentially, Surveying which is almost a half century old Engineering tool has substantially touched a sky-high. Conventional surveying gradually getting replaced by Total Station ,Differential Ground Position Systems and Drone surveying. Hence the main objective behind the course was to get undergraduate students acquainted with these modern tools.
