Description: The Department of Civil Engineering organized an Industrial Visit to Ultratech RMC plant at kothwalguda on 09th Nov’24. A total of 60 students along with four faculty members participated in the event. This visit was aimed at giving practical exposure as to how ready mix concrete is prepared right from extraction of aggregates and robo sand from quarry site followed by its mixing in the plant along with admixtures to increase its workability and also increasing setting times then till it is delivered to client and placed after performing necessary QA/QC tests to meet the required standards
