Description: Lords Institute of Engineering Technology (A) hosted the Osmania University Inter-College Karate Tournament on its campus on November 2, 2024, with 40 colleges participating. The event, which also served as the OU team selection trial, saw Lords Institute secure the overall championship title, earning two gold medals and one silver. Mohammed Huzaifa Sharif, a second-year ECE student, won gold in both the -84 kg and KATA individual categories, while Ismail Fazal claimed silver in the +84 kg category. Both athletes are selected to represent OU in the South Zone Inter-University Tournament at LNCIT University, Bhopal, from November 16 to 20, 2024.The event was graced by Chief Guest Prof. K. Deepla, IUT Secretary of the Department of Physical Education at Osmania University, and Guest of Honour Prof. Rajesh Kumar, ICT Secretary of the Department of Physical Education and Dean of Student Affairs. The tournament was observed by Mr. Aditya Reddy, appointed by OU.
