Description: The Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE) at Lords Institute of Engineering & Technology organized an insightful online webinar titled “Job Opportunities in VLSI / Semiconductor Industry” on 16th October 2025 at 3:15 PM.The session was conducted by Ms. Sunita, a Senior Physical Design Trainer from Takshila VLSI Institute. The webinar aimed to provide students with a comprehensive overview of the growing career opportunities and emerging trends in the VLSI and semiconductor industries.
Ms. Sunita shared her in-depth knowledge and experience in the field, covering various roles available in VLSI design and physical design, industry expectations, required skill sets, and the roadmap for students aspiring to enter this domain. She also highlighted the increasing global demand for semiconductor professionals due to advancements in technology and the expanding electronics market.
A total of 55 students from the ECE department actively participated in the session, gaining valuable guidance and clarity on career planning in this high-potential industry.
