Resource Person: Mr. Mohammed Asif Basha, Past-President ASHRAE Deccan Chapter,Hyderabad having 36+ years of experience in the field of HVAC & R specialized in clean rooms, BSL3 Labs and low RH cold rooms.

Description: A guest lecture on “Fundamentals and Advancements in HVAC Systems” was organized by the Department of Mechanical Engineering on 07-08-2025. The session covered core concepts such as psychrometry, refrigeration cycles, air distribution systems, and recent innovations in energy-efficient HVAC technologies. A total of 39 students attended and gained valuable insights into real-world applications and industry practices. The speaker, equipped with extensive industrial experience, explained key technical aspects like lcomponent selection, and system integration in a clear and interactive manner, greatly enhancing the students’ understanding of HVAC system design and operation.
