Emerald Club

The Emerald Club, the official Management Club of the Department of Management Studies, has been actively engaged in fostering leadership, teamwork, critical thinking, and managerial competencies among MBA students. Through a series of thoughtfully curated activities, the club provides a platform for students to apply theoretical concepts, sharpen their communication skills, and prepare for real-world corporate challenges.
Highlights of Activities
1. Business Quiz
A dynamic quiz competition was organized to test the knowledge of students in areas such as current affairs, global business trends, corporate strategies, and management concepts. This activity enhanced students’ awareness of the business environment while cultivating quick decision-making and analytical skills.

Structured debates were held on contemporary business and socio-economic topics. Students learned to research thoroughly, present logical arguments, and develop confidence in public speaking while also respecting diverse perspectives.
3. Extempore Sessions
Impromptu speaking sessions challenged students to articulate their thoughts instantly on assigned topics. This exercise significantly improved spontaneity, clarity of communication, and the ability to think critically under pressure.
4. Case Study Discussions
Real-world business case studies were analyzed and discussed by students in teams. These sessions promoted problem-solving abilities, strategic thinking, and collaborative learning, preparing students to face practical managerial challenges.
5. Group Discussions
Group discussions were conducted on management and industry-related themes, enabling students to refine their interpersonal skills, logical reasoning, and ability to build consensus within a team.
6. Role Playing
Students actively participated in role-playing exercises, simulating managerial roles such as team leaders, negotiators, and decision-makers. These sessions strengthened their leadership qualities, empathy, and adaptability to different managerial situations.

These visits aimed at bridging classroom concepts with real-world practices, offering students an opportunity to observe, interact, and learn beyond theoretical knowledge.
These successful visits were made possible through the support and guidance of the Head of the MBA Department, Mr. Ashfaq Hussain Sir, Imrana Madam, and Mr. Nomaan Sir, whose efforts and encouragement played a key role in planning and facilitating the entire experience. We extend our heartfelt thanks to them for their valuable contributions.
