Energy Club the Ministry of Non-conventional Energy Sources (MNES) Government of India is promoting Energy Clubs in all Engineering Colleges, with a view to creating awareness among the student community and general public in villages around the college about Environment friendly renewable energy technologies

Mission
To make people aware about the need, concept and methodology of energy conservation and environment protection and its benefits to the individual, society and nation as a whole by regularly organizing talks, seminars, workshops, exhibitions, write ups etc.
- Seminars, workshops, lectures, quiz competitions, slogan competitions, poster and Essay competitions on Renewable Energy may be conducted for students of Engineering Colleges. These activities should be made mandatory on “Rajiv Gandhi AkshayUrjaDiwas” celebrated on 20th August every year.
- Educational visit to Renewable Energy formation Plant.
- To identify the Renewable Energy opportunities in the institution and implement them through Renewable Energy projects and if required conduct energy audit through Govt. approved energy consultants.
- To identify the schemes of Govt. subsidies and get sanction of them to get funds for execution of institution projects.
- To provide the Renewable Energy projects for third year and final year students which will serve the purpose of institute project and student’s project.
- Celebration of International SUN DAY
- Installation of Renewable Energy Systems in the College campus.
- Energy auditing in the college.

Roles & Responsibilities of Faculty Coordinator
- To plan activities under department association.
- To conduct meetings related to activities to be organized and related issues for smooth functioning of the association.
- To plan the co-curricular activities of the department in coordination with department regular activities.
- Motivating & encouraging the students of the department to participate/ register in various co-curricular activities.
- To allot the activity coordinator for each activity in association with the department HOD.
- To keep records, summary and documentations of all the events or activities organized.
- To prepare Minutes of Meeting for every meeting conducted.
- To upload the events organized data in to the website.
- To prepare the circulars and scheduling of the events.
- Motivating the students and registering the students to the stated activity.
- Recording of the events and preparation of documents of the organized events/activities i.e., registration forms, winners list, feedback forms.
- To prepare the report of the event or activity which they had organized.

- To motivate the fellow students to participate in the activity.
- To act as a organizer & volunteer to the activity and participant to that event.
