Title: Blood Donation Camp for Thalassemia Patients

Description: The National Service Scheme unit of Lords Institute of Engineering and Technology, in collaboration with Thalassemia and Sickle Cell Society-Hyderabad, organized a Blood Donation Camp for Thalassemia Patients. The camp took place on January 17, 2024, at the 4th-floor Seminar Hall of LIET, from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm. Students from B.E., M.E., and M.B.A., along with numerous faculties of LIET, actively participated in the camp, generously donating their blood. By organizing this camp, the college aims to ensure a stable and accessible supply of blood for individuals with Thalassemia, a genetic blood disorder. By encouraging targeted blood donations, the camp helps support the ongoing medical needs of Thalassemia patients, enhancing their quality of life and managing their condition more
effectively.
