Roles & Responsibilities of Mentor

A Mentor adorns the role of a second parent in whom the mentee confides. Holistic development of a mentee is the sole concern of a mentor. A Mentor is a Friend, Philosopher and Guide who strives for the betterment of his students with a selfless attitude like a parent. Mentoring is a unique method of supporting students to improve their learning and leadership skills, motivating them towards their future career development.
The Counselling Committee encourages the students to understand themselves and the issues that trouble them and guides them to resolve their problems. These problems can be personal emotional, social, family, peer, academic etc. One to one counselling sessions with the student counsellor helps our students to sort out these issues and unburden themselves of their problems.
