Description: Inauguration Ceremony of CSI in IT Department. of Lords Institute of Engineering & Technology.The Dept. of Information Technology had inaugurated the Computer Society of India (CSI) – Student Chapter, on 24th January 2024 from 1:30 PM to 4:30 PM at Lords Institute of Engineering & Technology. The Inauguration Ceremony of CSI was attended by Third-Year & Final Year IT Students. The guest of honor for the event was Garigipati Srinivasu,Wing Commander(Retd.),MC Member, CSI and Chief guest of the event was Dr.A.Ramakrishna Prasad, Professor in Mathematics, Former Director, UIIC-JNTUH.
Total 197 students from IT department have attended the event.
The guests had given the overview on the working of CSI and elaborated on the benefits of having CSI membership. The Inauguration Ceremony of CSI was very much appreciated by the student’s fraternity and the faculty members.
The event was presided by the felicitation of the guests by Mrs. Rizwana Begum, secretary, Dr. Ravi Kishore Singh, Principal, Dr. K. Nagi Reddy, HOD, IT Department, The session was coordinated by Ms. Sumayya Begum, Assistant Professor, IT Dept.
