Description about the event (50 Words): E-Cell IIT Bombay & E-Cell Lords conducted E-Summit Chapter in Hyderabad at the Lords Institute of Engineering & Technology. Summit Chapter is a drive to give a glimpse of the E-Summit.
The Hyderabad event consisted of Networking Arena, Competitions, MUN and Startup Expo for the students, startups, investors, mentors and industry professionals.
Day 1 consisted of MUN and a Competition named Wolf of Wall Street. Lords College MBA Team won the second place in competition andn invitation to E Summit 2023. The competition focused on the learning of the participants of the skills that are required to build a startup. MUN saw more than 100 applicants with only 30 making it to the delegate list. Wolf of Wall Street witnessed a participation of more than 50 students out of which the top 9 will get a chance to visit IIT Bombay for the E-Summit.
The highlight of day 2 was Networking Arena, an event exclusively for startups and mentors to network with each other and get an opportunity to make their ideas better. Networking is the core of entrepreneurship, as they say “Networking is not about just connecting people. It’s about connecting people with people, people with ideas, and people with opportunities.” More than 30 mentors and 50 startups took part in it. “In the Shoes of an Investor” was a decision making competition, which is an essential ability that a successful entrepreneur must possess. Startup Expo showcased the innovative products of startups to the crowd, who were then able to receive valuable feedback from the potential customers.
The overall event was pulled off by more than 50 volunteers from the IIT Bombay E-Cell team and LIET E-Cell team. It was a great experience for both the organisers and the attendees who are now looking forward to the E-Summit that will be happening in IIT Bombay on 28th and 29th of January.
