Description:
The Department of Computer science and Engineering, Lords Institute of Engineering and Technology, an Autonomous institution, Hyderabad has successfully inaugurated the Computer Society of India (CSI) Student Branch on 5th July 2023 with deity.The Guest of honour Mr. Chandra Dasaka – Head, Academic and Industry council, CSI. Secretary, CSI inaugurated the student branch of LIET. The chief guest Mrs. Rizwana Begum, Secretary, LIET advised students to make full use of activities and events under CSI, to improve the skills of the students which in turn gives confidence in participating in competitions and recruitment drives. Dr. R.K.Singh, Principal addressed the gathering and wished students a great success and asked them to come out with innovative ideas so as to meet industry standards.Dr Shaik Shavali, Professor and Dean Student affairs and Mr. Shaik Imam Saheb, HoD-CSE , CSI Student Branch Counsellor,narrated the efforts taken to inaugurate the student branch and elaborated the functions of governing body members. All the HoDs , Deans of LIET and faculty were present at the venue.Mr. Hanzala Shaikh , President student branch, introduced the student members who have been elected as executive student committee.The guests of honour Mr. Chandra Dasaka – Head, Academic and Industry council, CSI. Secretary, CSI. Mr. Tadepalli Sunil – Chapter Student Branches Lead for Telangana & AP. G. Srinivasu – Management Committee member of CSI, inspired the students with their speeches and explained the roles and benefits of CSI student branch. Speakers gave satisfactory answers to the students queries. At the end of the program snacks was given away to all the participants.Approximately 300 students participated in the inaugural function.
