Title of the event: Next Gen Employability Program on “ Data Science and Cloud Computing”

Students Association of CSE Department- Association of Computer Engineers(ACE) has conducted an orientation program on Next Gen Employability Program for the domain of “ Data Science and Cloud Computing” , for 3rd and 4th years CSE students at Lords Institute of Engineering and Technology. The resource person for the orientation was Ms. Ritika Sethi, Associate Program Manager from Edunet Foundation The resource person talked about the entire training modules and how this training would be helpful in getting jobs .Students will be given a total 70 hours of free training in the months of April and May. The training is divided into three modules in which 40 hours will be for ” Data Analytics with AWS/ Microsoft Azure”,10 hours for Capstone project and 30 hours for”Employability skills”. These modules will help students to learn data analytics techniques and also the practical method of applying their newfound data analytics knowledge.

Employability skills will help them in filling skill gaps and build a portfolio of skills valued by employers. This overall training will make the students job ready. The event was graced by Mr. Shaikh Imam Saheb- HOD –CSE and Dr. T.K. Shaik Shavali-Dean –students affairs. Student coordinators were Suhail and Md Afzal .
