Lords Institute of Engineering & Technology (Autonomous), the Department of Science& Humanities has conducted their Parents-Teachers’ meeting in offline mode for B.E-I Year SEM-II on 24th June 2023 at First Year Block from 10.00 am to 4.30pm.The meeting was held to discuss the students’ progress in Academics (SEE-I Results), Attendance (Below 55% in SEM II), Conduct in the college and schedule of forthcoming Examinations (as per ALMANAC) etc.

Description:
The Parent Teacher Meeting of the CSE department was conducted on 24th JUNE 2023, in CSE Seminar Hall 202 room for 4th Sem 2nd year students. The academic progress of the students, their performance in CIE-1, attendance percentage, previous semester results, activities conducted in the college, guess lectures, technical training, placements and professional bodies membership were discussed with the parents. Parents and students were counselled on how much time to spend on daily basis to prepare to get good marks in the exam. 2nd-year students were also suggested to enrol in advanced programming courses, beyond the syllabus to get job ready till the end of their engineering course. Feedback, remarks and suggestions were taken from parents as well. The progress report for the current semester was handed over to the parents. Those students having consistently less attendance are recognised and counselled students and informed parents to send their wards regularly.
The main aim of this meeting was to build a healthy relationship among the teachers, parents and students. Head of the Department, Deans, Class In-charges, mentors interacted with the parents. Honourable Secretary madam, Principal and Vice Principal were present at meeting and also spoke to the parents. There were around 140 above participants.

Description: Parent Teacher Meeting was held on 26th June 2023 at CSE-AIML Department at Room no 117. It was organized to discuss the performance of students with their parents. Parents were given responses on their ward’s performances.
The contact between the teacher and the parents was excellent for the growth of their child, and they talked about both areas of strength and those that needed improvement. A progress report from the Department was given to the parents, which included information about Ward attendance and the results of internal exams. The parents’ suggestions were successfully recorded. Any indication that a child is not making progress is investigated and dealt with, whether they fall into the lower, middle, or upper range.Total 65 parents attended the meeting.This is one of the good numbers; The Department really appreciates the parents for attending the PTM. As the PTM came to a close, it was determined that cooperation, mutual respect, and combined effort between parents and instructors were crucial for the development and well-being of the pupils.

Lords Institute of Engineering Technology (Autonomous), the Department of Civil Engineering has conducted their Parents-Teachers’ meeting in offline mode on 24th June 2023 at Civil Engineering Department Library from 10.00 am to 5.00pm. The meeting was held to declare the result of Odd semester and CIE- I results. The purpose of the Parents Faculty Meetings is not only to make parents aware of their ward’s academic performance but also to encourage and motivate students to Excel in Semester End Examination. Mentors made the parents and the students aware of autonomous marks distribution, passing marks for CIE and SEE, Credits to be scored at the end of the academic year, question banks for all the subjects, classes, attendance of their ward, upcoming CIE-II, Laboratory hours and most importantly Assignment and Surprise test which the students need to take care of.. Principal and Dean IQAC visited civil engineering department and discussed with parents about their ward’s study and performance.

Description about the event (50 Words): First Parent teacher meeting was conducted by MBA department for MBA 1st yr, 2nd semester students on 12th july, 2023 at Smart class no 418 from 10..am to 3.00 pm. This meeting was attended by students along with their parents. Department faculty members interacted with parents and gave their progress report. Parents appreciated this effort of LIET, the MBA department, to interact with parents and update them about students’ progress. They expressed their intention to come back for the next PTM.
