Name of the Event: Parent-Teacher Meeting-I
Description:
The Science and Humanities Department organized the Parent-Teacher Meeting-I on December 16, 2023, at the First Year Block in the College Campus for B.E. First Year Students. Discussions centered around the students’ Academic Progress, Performance in CIE-1, Attendance Percentage, and Engagement in other Activities. Parents were encouraged to provide Feedback, remarks, and suggestions during the session. Students with consistently low attendance were identified, counseled, and parents were urged to ensure regular attendance for their wards.
The primary objective of the meeting was to foster a positive relationship between teachers, parents, and students. The event saw participation from the Dean of the First Year, Heads of Departments, Class In-charges, mentors, as well as the esteemed presence and address of the Honourable secretary and the Principal, who engaged with the parents directly.

Description: Department of Information Technology has conducted Parent Teacher Meeting on 16-12-2023 & 06-01-2024 at 419 Smart Class-IT, IV Floor, LIET. Dr. K Nagi Reddy HoD-IT, Mentors & Class Incharges Interacted with the parents/Guardian & informed about the Academics & CIE-I Marks, Regularity, Minimum attendance required as per norms, Placement Training Plan, Professional Improvements required in students for their career growth.

Department of CSE-AIML
Name of the event: Parent Teacher Meet
Description: Parent Teacher Meeting was held on 16th December 2023 and 6th January, 2024 at CSE-AIML Department at Room no 117. It was organized to discuss the performance of students with their parents. Parents were given responses on their ward’s performances.
Excellent communication was maintained between the instructor and the parents regarding their child’s development, and they discussed both the child’s strengths and places for improvement. The Department provided the parents with a progress report that contained details regarding Ward attendance and internal test results. The recommendations from the parents were duly noted. All children, whether in the lower, middle, or upper range, who show signs of not improving are looked into and helped.
There were 29 parents present at the gathering. This is a positive figure, and the Department is grateful to the parents for coming to the PTM.As the PTM drew to an end, it became clear that parent-teacher collaboration, respect, and teamwork were essential to the growth and welfare of the students.

Description: The Parent Teacher Meeting of the CSE department was conducted on 16th December 2023 and 6th January,2024, in CSE Seminar Hall for 2nd and 3rd year students respectively. The academic progress of the students, their performance in CIE-1, attendance percentage, previous semester results, and activities conducted in the college, guest lectures, technical training, placements and professional bodies membership were discussed with the parents. Parents and students were counselled on how much time to spend on a daily basis to prepare to get good marks in the exam. 3rd -year students were also suggested to enroll in advanced programming courses, beyond the syllabus to get job ready till the end of their engineering course. Feedback, remarks and suggestions were taken from parents as well. The progress report for the current semester was handed over to the parents. Those students having consistently less attendance are recognised and counselled students and informed parents to send their wards regularly.
The main aim of this meeting was to build a healthy relationship among the teachers, parents and students. Head of the Department, Deans, Class In-charges, mentors interacted with the parents.

The Department provided the parents with a progress report that contained details regarding Ward attendance, Assignment test, Surprise test marks, Internal test results and importance of survey camp is also discussed . The recommendations from the parents were duly noted. All students , whether in the lower, middle, or upper range, who show signs of not improving are looked into and helped.
